Leslie Kamenik took Tuffy to the All Saints Church in Tvrdosin, Slovakia. This 15th century structure, one of the oldest wooden churches in the country, is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Thanks, Leslie, for your PayPal donation and for adding Slovakia as the 62nd country on the LPSF Donor Map!

The Foundation thanks Ashley (Burwell) Thwaite, LHS 2006, and her husband Oliver for their donation in August 2024 while they attended the Paris Olympics. This photo shows them in front of the Town Hall of Paris.

Known for its rugged coastline and medieval castles, the Isle of Man is located in the Irish Sea between Northern Ireland and the United Kingdom. Paul Grygier strikes again for LPSF! A few days later Paul sent this photo, making Namibia the 58th country on our Donor Map. The Dorob National Park was established in 2010, and it stretches almost 1,000 miles along the central Namibian coast.
Paul Grygier has no direct ties to the L-P Schools, but to show his support for education, in May 2024 he took Tuffy on his travels to Table Mountain overlooking Cape Town, South Africa. Paul plays bridge in a game frequented by an LPSF Trustee. Thank you, Paul, for your PayPal donation that added South Africa to our Donor Map!
Susan Peoples, LHS 1964, strikes again! Thank you for remembering the Foundation and sharing this photo from the Amsterdam Airport during your return trip from Zambia. This adds the Netherlands as the 56th country on the LPSF Donor Map.

For almost ten years Susan has sponsored Eliza, who wants to be a nurse after her graduation. Rafiki is Swahili for “friend,” and the organization is a Christian ministry that provides care and education for orphans in ten African countries.

Joel Knisely flew Tuffy about 1,400 miles from his recent stop in Singapore. Tuffy doesn’t mind the heights as he surveys the skyline of Manila, Philippines from the Newport Resort World. The Foundation thanks Joel for his PayPal donation, making the Philippines the 52nd country on our Donor Map.
While Joel Knisely has no direct ties to the L-P Schools, he does have an ongoing interest in supporting education, and a willingness to take Tuffy on his travels as a corporate pilot. Not to be outdone by her three globetrotting daughters who have sent numerous photos from a variety of exotic locations, Charlotte Glasgo recently shared this photo from her travels that included Marrakesh, Morocco. Husband Steve Glasgo, LHS 1970, made a donation while Charlotte was travelling with her sisters in June 2022.

In July 2021, Captain Mary Kauffman began a 6-month tour of duty in Kuwait at the Ali Al Salem Air Base, a busy aerial port with an average of 400 monthly missions, delivering 3,500 tons of cargo and 9,500 personnel. Mary and husband Scott (LHS 2001) live in Loudonville with their two children. The LPSF Trustees made a donation to honor Mary and to thank her for her service.
The LPSF Trustees made a donation in 2021 to honor Captain Jonathan Huffman, LHS 2007. He is an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) qualified Civil Engineer Officer and is currently on a one-year deployment to Al Dhafra Air Base (ADAB) in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). He manages a $1.8B UAE funded construction program to transition ADAB into a more enduring posture.

Andy (LHS 2008) and Kari (LHS 2004) Reidenbach both work for Mansfield Plumbing. A February 2020 work assignment took them to Bogota, Colombia, the headquarters of parent company Corona. The LPSF Trustees made a donation to honor Elizabeth (Morgan) James, LHS 2011, shown here aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln. The ship was stationed in the Arabian Sea and docked in Bahrain during a portion of its 297-day deployment in 2019.
Larry Kennedy sent this picture from The Coal Hole, a pub he denies visiting while in London, England. A retired educator from the Mansfield City Schools, Larry displayed his continuing interest in education with a donation to the L-P School Foundation in October of 2019.

Thank you to Ronny and Jen Portz, both 1991 LHS graduates, for supporting the Foundation from Ocho Rios, Jamaica. While on vacation they climbed Dunn's River Falls, snorkeled, and took a catamaran ride. Jamaica was the site of their honeymoon in 1998.
