The 2017 Senior Project was a huge success! The Ohio Theatre rocked as an audience of 350 people saw an amazing show with students, teachers, and staff performing hit songs in a Lip Sync Battle!
Congratulations to the winners - Madame Arnold, Ms. Aubel, Mrs. Burd, Ms. Scarberry, and Mrs. Spreng, who performed "Wannabe" by the Spice Girls! Second place went to the team of Connor Young, Cole Kirkbride, Gaven Wiredu, Jayson Mitchell, and Jon Herman who sang "I Want It That Way" by the Backstreet Boys. Deken Foster took third place with a dramatic performance of "You'll Be Back" from the hit musical Hamilton.
The Lip Sync Battle was the 18th annual event organized by the graduating senior class at LHS. The event collected $2,922 to benefit the Loudonville-Perrysville School Foundation. Audience members also donated over 200 items to the Helping Hand food pantry.
We'd like to thank Aimee Ross, Dave Spreng, and Keith Lemke for serving as judges. Special thanks go to the Village of Loudonville for the complimentary use of the Ohio Theatre, to Mansfield Plumbing Products for copying the programs, and to Buzzard’s Family Shoes for selling tickets.
Finally, we thank the Class of 2017 for their planning and execution of the event, for the first-class entertainment, and for doing good things to benefit the community.
We don't know what it will be, but we hope to see you next year . . . at the Class of 2018's Senior Project!
